Basic Plans

The basic plans, both single user and multi (up to three users) are a simple flat rate. If you have earned a discount, for example through participation in a RCA Rt training workshop then the cost is the simple flat rate discounted by the appropriate amount.

For example the normal single user annual rate is $76.80 per year. If you have been to an RCA Rt training course then you have a 10% discount giving a cost of $67.20 or a bit over a dollar per week.

Single User with Options

The single user with options plan is just as simple. Say you like the single user basic version and you have selected the "Detail" option because you find it useful to have more space to record detail.

If you take the monthly payment option then the cost will be $8 for the basic version and and 50 cents per month extra for the Detail option. A total of $8.50 per month. If you choose to pay annually then you gain the benefit of a 20% discount. If you have been to an RCA Rt training course then you gain a further 10% discount. The total annual cost would be (8 +0.5) X 12 months reduced by 30% discount = $71.40.

Multi User with Options

The Multi User with Options allows three users to be registered and is simply three times the cost of the Single User with Options selection.

Corporate Version with Options

The Corporate Version with Options is a little more complicated because we are keen to reward organisations that engage many people in problem solving.

The first three users are charged using the formula given above. So if you select the corporate option and only have three users registered then the cost will be just the same as the Multi User version.

The cost of the fourth person is halved and this applies for all up to the ninth person.

The cost of the tenth person is a quarter of the standard and this applies through to the ninty ninth person.

The cost for the 100th person is only one eighth of the standard and this applies for further users. So the cost for users drops to less than a dollar per month depending on options selected.

An example may illustrate. Consider a site that has 28 users and has Corporate User Annual payment (20% discount) with the optional "Detail" and the account holder has been to an RCA Rt course and therefore the whole account benefits from a further 10% discount.

The cost for the first or "Standard" user would be $76.80 as calculated above in the basic single user calculation. The first three would be at this rate, while the next six would be at half this or $38.40 each. The next 19 people are at a quarter or $19.20 each. The company is paying annually (a 20% discount applies) and if the account holder has been to an RCA Rt training course then a further 10% discount applies giving a 30% discount. This information is shown in the following table.
